Deadline for transactions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The trade deadline is set after the January 28th simulation, which corresponds to the 120th day of the regular season (roughly 66% of the season). Trades can involve players, draft picks, and salary retention.\nNo future considerations are allowed in a trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completing a Trade<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For a trade to go through:\n\nOne GM must submit an offer.\n\nThe other GM must accept it.\n\nThe trade is then reviewed by the Trade Committee, made up of 2 to 6 GMs plus the league president.\n\nA trade becomes official once it receives approval from a majority of the committee (50% + 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a trade is approved, the simulator instantly updates the players, picks, and money exchanged for both teams.\n\nGMs must always respect the committee\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the Trade Committee is to ensure fairness for the good of the league:\n\nFair or slightly one-sided trades \u2192 should be accepted.\n\nOverly lopsided trades or deals that jeopardize a team\u2019s future \u2192 will be rejected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Trade Deadline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From the trade deadline until the end of the playoffs, and during the free agent signing stage, the trade system is disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this period, GMs may still negotiate informal trades using the internal messaging system to keep other GMs informed. Once the trade system reopens, these deals can be made official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
