Hockey Objectives #

The team owner gives you a points target for the regular season as well as a playoff objective. Your success in meeting these targets will determine the value of your Hockey attribute. Check the Owner > Goals – Hockey page for full details.

Finance Attribute #

The Finance attribute is based on two financial aspects of team management under your responsibility:

  1. Financial strategies (25 points)
  2. Respecting the payroll budget (75 points)

GM Attribute Fluctuations #

Your hockey and finance attributes are directly tied to your objectives and budgets, and they are updated after each simulation. As the season progresses, these attributes become more accurate. They are only locked in permanently once the playoffs are completed.

Player Attribute Evolution #

Depending on whether your league uses Real Evolution or Virtual Evolution, player attributes are updated once or twice per year.

Virtual Evolution #

Player attributes are re-evaluated twice a year: after the simulation of the 82nd day of the regular season calendar (virtual December 21), and at the end of the season when moving to the Postseason stage.

Real Evolution #

In Real Evolution mode, attributes are re-evaluated only once per year, at the end of the season when transitioning to the Postseason.

Trade Deadline

The trade deadline is set after the simulation of the 120th day of the regular season calendar (about 66% of the season), corresponding to January 28 (virtual date).

Renewal of Type 3 Free Agent Contracts #

Players with a Type 3 contract in their final year have a 50% chance of choosing to negotiate with your team. If the player agrees, you can renew his contract, which will take effect the following season.

  • If the player has an option year, it is removed and replaced by the new deal.
  • If the player refuses to negotiate, you can still use a team option (if present in the contract) once the league reaches the Postseason stage.
